Pazzalotti is the sculptural design practice of Australian ceramic artists Mitchell and Rebekah Parry. Working with clay as a primary material, the studio creates ceramic art pieces including handmade lighting, furniture and sculptural objects, each defined by expressive form, texture and materiality. Their ceramic art explores a shared, process-driven approach where function and sculpture intersect.
COLLECTION OF WORK // MONELLO SERIES
The Monello series represents an embrace of character, imperfection, and youthful spirit. This body of work began as an exploration of character rather than perfection— a desire to let forms misbehave and to embrace irregularity, fullness, and the inherent beauty that resides within our own imperfections. Each piece carries a sense of youthful energy— playful, unruly, and unapologetically individual.
Bright, layered glazes form a polished exterior over playfully textured surfaces— colourful, animated, and deliberate. Collectively, they speak to the tension between our decorated exteriors and the imperfect selves beneath, celebrating the spirited and unruly parts of us that still remain from our youth.
